Benefits of becoming an Earn Extra sub-contractor

As a sole trader or a self-employed construction worker you can opt to be engaged under Earn Extra's CIS service. By being registered under this service you become an Earn Extra sub-contractor and we take away your administrative burden.

We take care of the day-to-day admin so you don’t have to

As an Earn Extra sub-contractor you will benefit from the support provided by the expert Earn Extra team, and using your Unique Tax Reference (UTR) we ensure that the correct amount of CIS tax - and not a penny more - is deducted.
We will undertake all your payment and expenses requirements, and you will retain the benefits of being self-employed. It’s the simple and easy way to make sure you make the most of your hard-earned cash.

Reconcile your end of year tax

To give you the best possible service, we use our chosen tax partners – Oliver Belle Kinge LLP (OBK).

Under CIS the contractor will deduct 20% from your payments and pass it to HMRC. These deductions count as advanced payments towards your tax bill. At the end of the tax year, your self-assessment tax return is prepared. This lets you claim all your legitimate work-related expenses for the year and expenses can be offset against the tax already paid.
